Women's Everyday

Here I am,
Writing about women,
As I could have done it
Any other day.
Because a woman is present
In our lives in so many ways...
She is a mother, a sister,
An aunt, a niece.
She is a friend, a mate,
A housewoman, a teacher,
A doctor, a nurse,
A journalist, a writer,
A poet, a novelist...
And all are so vital.
We need them
As we need to breathe.
So value and thank their work.
Both, women and men embrace
The source of life.
